Which areas do you cover?
I am based in South Wales, so my immediate 'patch' includes South Wales and the West Country, however having lived in the West Midlands, I also have many relationships with venues and clients there and I'm very happy to travel. If there is a distance to consider, I would recommend video meeting consultations and then I would charge a tiny amount for mileage, on top of the standard ceremony fee.
How much do you charge?
Funerals and celebrations of life have a flat fee of £250.
Naming ceremonies start at £450, depending on tailored package requirements.
Wedding packages start at £1100, and can be tailored to your budget and needs for the day.
If you include as much information as possible using the submission form I will be able to send you more detailed options and provide a tailored package for your weddings and naming ceremonies.
Do you offer Lgbtq+ceremonies?
Absolutely! I am passionate about equality and diversity. I believe that love is love.
It would be my pleasure to work with LGBTQ+ couples and families, bringing their stories to life in weddings, civil partnerships, vowel renewals and naming ceremonies. Also as a member of the community myself, I know how important empathy and respect can be, especially when thinking about funerals and memorials for LGBTQ+ people. You're in safe hands!
Can we include faith & symbolism?
Yes! As an independent celebrant I have the freedom to incorporate personal elements into your ceremony that reflect your religion/faith/cultural backgrounds and interests - as much (or as little) as you'd like. And I will always be honest about my knowledge in each area and where it may be wise to bring in other partners, if a fully religious ceremony is more appropriate to your needs.
How do we choose the right funeral service?
We'll work together to explore your loved one's final wishes and what you feel fits best as a family.
Cremation or burial funerals, direct cremation with a memorial to follow, or a celebration of life, we can make sure the logistics and the tone of the day work for you and feel like the perfectly fitting tribute.
